Peter works in opera, in concert, and in choral music.

Recent engagements include Elgar The Dream of Gerontius, Monteverdi Vespers, and Handel Messiah, as well as a ten-date tour of the US and Canada with the Chapel Choir of Emmanuel College.

Peter is sought after for his work as a chorus master and conductor of opera, in which capacities he has worked for, amongst others, the National Theatre, the Danish Royal Opera, the Polish National Opera, the Royal Opera Covent Garden, and the Voices Foundation/ Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.

Other recent engagements include his broadcast debut with the BBC Singers and two choral-orchestral concerts with Orpheus Sinfonia (Verdi Requiem; Vaughan Williams Dona nobis pacem).

In choral music, Peter has served as Director of Chapel Music at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and at St John's College, Durham. He is founder & director of the ROSL award-winning vocal ensemble Cries of London, with whom he has appeared at festivals and major concert halls across the UK.
