From August 2025, Peter is at Theater Lüneburg as 1st Kapellmeister, where in this season he leads the revivals of Die Csárdásfürstin and Love Never Dies, new productions of The Barber of Seville, RENT, and Sweeney Todd, as well as various concerts with the Lüneburger Symphoniker.

He was from 2023-2025 engaged as Solorepetitor at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, Munich, where he worked with the thirty-eight members of the ensemble, played for and directed scenic rehearsals, and wrote arrangements for the Staatsorchester.

Other recent work includes the Bregenzer Festspiele (Assistant Conductor), the Cesti Competition (official harpsichordist), and his German debut as conductor (Die Entführung aus dem Serail).

 

Previous engagements include the National Theatre in London, Danish Royal Opera, Polish National Opera, the Royal Opera Covent Garden, and the Voices Foundation/ Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, as well as a period as Solorepetitor and Assistant of the GMD at the Theater Plauen-Zwickau.​

In choral music, Peter was previously Director of Chapel Music at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and at St John's College, Durham. He has appeared as conductor, composer, and arranger with the BBC Singers, and is founder & director of the ROSL award-winning vocal ensemble Cries of London, with whom he has performed at festivals and major concert halls across the UK.
